Terms and Conditions

1. Booking & Appointments

All bookings at The Bare Edit are subject to confirmation. I personally review and approve each booking request before it becomes confirmed.

Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive details of your appointment time, location and any preparation instructions. Please ensure you arrive on time, as late arrivals may result in a shortened service to avoid impacting other clients.

2. Cancellation & Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please give at least 24 hours' notice. This allows me to offer the slot to another client.

Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee or may affect your ability to book future appointments.

To cancel or reschedule, please contact me as soon as possible via your original booking method.

3. No-Shows

If you fail to attend your appointment without any notice, this is considered a no-show. Repeated no-shows may result in being required to pay a deposit for future bookings or being unable to book further appointments.

I understand that emergencies happen. If something unexpected occurs, please let me know as soon as you can.

4. Payment

Payment is due at the end of your appointment. I accept cash, card and bank transfer.

Service prices are as displayed at the time of booking. Any additional services requested during your appointment will be charged accordingly.

5. Consultations & Patch Tests

Certain services, including but not limited to PMU (permanent makeup), lash treatments, aesthetics and skincare treatments, require a consultation form to be completed before your appointment. This helps ensure your safety and allows me to tailor the service to your needs.

Some treatments may also require a patch test at least 24-48 hours before your appointment to check for allergic reactions. If a patch test is required, I will let you know when you book. Failure to attend a patch test may result in your appointment being cancelled.

Please be honest and thorough when completing consultation forms. Withholding relevant information (such as medical conditions, allergies or medications) may affect your treatment and could pose a risk to your health.

6. Refund Policy

Due to the nature of beauty and wellness services, refunds are not offered for completed treatments. If you are unhappy with your service, please contact me within 48 hours and I will do my best to resolve any concerns.

I take pride in my work and your satisfaction is important to me. Open communication is always welcome.

7. Client Responsibilities

Please arrive for your appointment clean and ready for your treatment. For specific services, preparation instructions may be provided in advance.

If you have any known allergies, skin conditions, medical conditions, or are pregnant or breastfeeding, please inform me before your appointment so I can advise whether the treatment is suitable for you.

You must be at least 18 years of age to book certain treatments. Where services are available to under-18s, parental or guardian consent may be required.

8. Health & Safety

Your safety and wellbeing are my priority. I maintain high hygiene standards and use professional-grade products and equipment.

If you are feeling unwell, have a contagious condition, or have any active skin infections in the treatment area, please reschedule your appointment. This protects both you and other clients.

I reserve the right to refuse or discontinue a treatment if I believe it would not be in your best interest or if there are health and safety concerns.

9. Your Data & Privacy

Any personal information you provide is used solely for the purpose of managing your bookings and providing your treatments. I will not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Your data is stored securely in accordance with UK data protection regulations (GDPR). You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time.

10. Liability

While I take every care to deliver safe, high-quality treatments, individual results may vary and cannot be guaranteed. By booking an appointment, you acknowledge that beauty and wellness treatments carry inherent risks.

I am not liable for any adverse reactions or outcomes that result from undisclosed medical conditions, allergies, failure to follow aftercare instructions, or failure to attend required patch tests or consultations.

11. Changes to These Terms

I may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available at the time of booking. By booking an appointment, you agree to the terms in place at that time.
